The
physical education option provides students with the educational
preparation for a career in the teaching profession. Students will
earn a degree that will prepare them to teach physical education
from grades K-12. In order to earn a teaching certification, students
must meet and comply with the requirements of the ”Teacher Education
Program” administered by the School of Education. Specific requirements
involve criteria for admission and retention to the teacher education
program, and admission to student teaching.
