Exercise Physiology
This
area of emphasis is designed for students who wish to gain an understanding
of concepts associated with exercise physiology as related to human
performance. Particular emphasis is placed on athletic performance
and clinical applications. Course work is designed to provide students
with a sound theoretical background in physiology, research methods,
and clinical practice. The exercise physiology emphasis is meant
to prepare students for further graduate study or employment in
the fitness/cardiac rehabilitation areas.

Resource Area (6 or 12 semester hours)
A thesis student would choose 6 hours of electives to meet his/her
particular needs and interests while a student choosing the treatise
option would select 12 hours.
